Great Sermon! We thank our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ for the gospel of His grace that is freely given to sinners.
We thank the Lord for this clear, plain, bold and true message by Pastor Todd Nibert.
May the Lord send this gospel message around the world to His glory and the good of His church!
Amen!
Constant Sanctification and Complete Satisfaction Constant Sanctification and Complete Sanctification ... I believe Scripture supports both. We are completely Sanctified In Christ and we are in need of daily constant Sanctification By Christ. This Constant Sanctification ends when we see Him ... When we see Him, we shall be like Him - 1 John
Food for thought According to Thayer's Greek Lexicon one of the meanings of sanctify is to separate from things profane and to dedicate to God, to consecrate and so render inviolable; a) things and b) persons. This is a process for us and one we must take seriously if we are to obey the commands of our King, Lord, Master, and Saviour. In 1 Corinthians 7:14 even nonbelievers are separated out from the world and brought into a saving influence by marriage to a believer. We can't separate ourselves out in the sense that God does when He saves us, but we can separate ourselves out to His service. I think we get to hung up on thinking of a word in one way and not understanding how it can be used in different context. We should separate ourselves from this world and separate ourselves to the Truth of the Gospel, but we should not separate ourselves from believers who are our brethren in Christ simply because we do not understand how words are used and then come to a conclusion that they don't believe the Word of God. I confess my understanding is lacking, but the Word of God can be understood with much sincere prayer and study. Spirit and Truth must both be present to understand God's Word. I have a heavy ache in my heart for true believers to have a better understanding of God and of each other.
Great Sermon! I enjoyed that. This was a message that did what all sermons should do. It glorified our God and our Master, The Lord and Savior of all who believe, Jesus The Christ who intercedes for us at the right hand of the Father. I hope that when preachers say that sanctification is a process here on earth they mean we are growing in grace as we are commanded by our Lord. And I also hope that they know that our sanctification is complete only in Christ. God saved us and God will glorify us in heaven. The only thing we can participate in is our growth. The rest God took care of Himself. God blessed us with task of cooperating with Him in our growth.
Much needed teachings on election Thank you so much for your blessed teachings on the doctrine of election. So much confusion has been centered around this difficult (to me, anyway) doctrine. It seems people are teaching opinions rather than the truth about this. Your sermon has taken so many stomach churning pains and fears away. Thank you so much. Tears of joy have replaced my tears of the fears of not ever experiencing the salvation and the love of God or to be able to enjoy Heaven and the blessed Trinity. Thank you so much
Great Sermon! So good, this can help you believer so encouraging giving the Lord all rule over you and that brings rest and security by His Grace to you. Must listen!
