Whether you’re a grizzled saint, a new-ish believer, or someone interested in exploring the Christian faith, we’re delighted that you’re interested in visiting us in rural Somers. Our church is one tiny part of the family of Christ united by His cross who gather on Sundays throughout the world – how exciting! If you’re a Christian believer who’s currently not a part of a church, a church like SBC is exactly what’s missing in your life, and we’d love to meet you and discover together what God might have in store for the both of us…together! We hope that you will find us warm, welcoming, and prepared for visitors as we collectively approach God through singing and hearing God’s Word. Please be assured that when you visit for the first time we’ll do our best to strike the balance between showing ourselves friendly AND not smothering you (as Baptists have the tendency to!). You’ll get your hand shaken and then (largely) be left alone to take things in for yourself! ​One more thing: we have fellowship time before and after each service. We welcome the opportunity to meet people, and, if you’re up to it, we’d encourage you to come early, stay late, and enjoy the gathering of people in God’s name. ​
