Sovereign Grace Reformed Church is an independent Reformed congregation, begun in 1976 and formerly a member of the Protestant Reformed Churches. With thanksgiving to God Sovereign Grace stands firmly on the sole foundation of God’s Word, of which Jesus Christ is the chief cornerstone. Sovereign Grace bears witness with the ancient church to the glory of the Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and to the glory of the only Saviour Jesus Christ, true infinite God and true complete and perfect man in the unity of the Second Person of the Godhead, the only begotten Son. Sovereign Grace also stands with the churches of the Protestant Reformation with their commitment to the truth of God’s Word expressed in the Three Forms of Unity, the Heidelberg Catechism, the Belgic Confession, and the Canons of Dordt. Sovereign grace is committed to the doctrine of the five solas of the Protestant Reformation and of the priesthood of all believers in Christ.
