Providence Presbyterian Church in Opelika, Ala., is a congregation of the Free Church of Scotland (Continuing), which has a presbytery in North America. The FCC traces its historical roots back to the Protestant Reformation in Scotland, which began in 1560. The denomination maintains the same biblical truths and spiritual identity to this day. Our doctrinal standards are the original 17th-century version of the Westminster Confession of Faith and Larger and Shorter Catechisms.
