Grace. The word "grace" is a key word in the New Testament. You really can't understand the Bible or the Christian religion if you had to grasp the concept of grace. The Bible teaches God is a God of Grace. Grace tells us that true religion is more than a matter of trying to be good or do good. Grace tells us God's love and kindness is absolutely free. He gives the great gift of salvation to people who don't deserve it. Why would God do that? Why could God do that? The answer is inextricably bound up in the unique person and work of Jesus Christ.
Baptist. The term that signifies our membership is composed of people who have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ and obeyed the command to be baptized. No one is born a Christian, nor does one autoÂmatically become a Christian because one is baptized. We need to be reborn and to look to the Lord Jesus Christ who alone can save us from our sins.
Church. We are not a social club or a political institution. We are an assembly of God's people who seek to follow the Lord Jesus Christ by obeying His Word. In our life together we seek to do only those things Christ tells His Church to do.
