Basic Information

Introduction Charles Stewart earned his BA in N.T. Studies from Belhaven University (1971), his MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (1974), and his DMin from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (1981). He retired May 31, 2015 from pastoral ministry, having served in full-time ministry since 1974. He serves as an active teaching Adjunct Professor in the School of Theology at the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, a position he has held since 2007. He served three years on the Evangelism Committee of the Southern Baptists of Texas state convention. Special interests of study for Dr. Stewart are Christology and Eschatology. Charles and his wife, Becky, in their retirement are active members of Southcliff Baptist Church in Fort Worth, TX, where he served 1988-1996 as Senior Pastor.
