In John 11:5-16, we see Thomas's desire to follow Christ, and we see his example of boldness for Christ. Secondly, in John 14:1-6, we see Thomas's devotion; he wants to be wherever Christ is, and we see the need for total focus on Christ. Finally in John 20:24-29, we see that though Thomas's faith was shaken, it is restored by Christ. We see his perseverance in faith. Thomas had learned that all Christ's promises were true. He was faithful to Christ to the end.
