Today, before we observe the Communion, I would like to draw your attention to the voice of Christ speaking to His Bride the Church; to every group of believers in every one of His Churches during this whole Church age. He would remind her of what He desires her to remember while He is away. He would 1st of all – Christ would have us, as a part of His Bride, to remember where we dwell. 2nd – He would have us to remember the companions who are listening for our voice. And 3rd – He would have us to remember that He Himself is listening for our voice. As we prepare our hearts to receive the Lord's Supper, let us receive also these truths to stimulate our fellowship and communion with each other in this ordinance, and also with our unseen Lord.
