It shall be WHEN you shall be... 
 Droughts and doubts... mope or hope? 
 Droughts and doubts are two things that go hand in hand. And for God's people they never happen by accident.
Jeremiah promised that frustrations and famines would become their norm because their normally excluded the fountain of living water. 
 God's pretty clear about what He'll do/give when we answer His call and follow His leadership and when we ignore Him and His ways. He tells us up front how He will respond to our response to Him and His loving lead over our lives. This is why the Newer Testament says, "God shall not be mocked, a man shall reap what he sows or glean what he gives or receive what he releases or produce what he plants." And whether we like it or not... time has been a faithful witness to this truth, over and over again, God is never mocked, blocked or docked when it comes to us gleaning what what we give. 
 Today's reading in Isaiah 58 reminded me of one of those times. I pondered the storyline of Ahab, Jezebel and Elijah and I couldn't help but connect the dots of DROUGHT and DOUGHT and FAMINE and FRUSTRATION in their days. 
 Think about it? There are so many who are famished and frustrated today... and they, as with most cases of frustration, want to blame everyone else for their DROUGHTS and the growing number of DOUBTS that's manipulating their mind. 
 No matter how you look at it... doubts and frustrations have a deteriorating and lasting effect upon our delight in something we once found delight in. And, with a strong lack of DELIGHT in the things of God, they embraced the lie that everyone else was to blame for the drought and famine. They put
