Let me ask you this question: “Where does the I and me, fall into the equation of your salvation?â€
Is it, I prayed a prayer Is it, I was baptized. Is it, I’m working to make heaven my home.
Doing good deeds, good works, reading a studying the Bible. Coming to church, doing all that you can.
Where is the I and the me, come into play when it comes to salvation.
I know this may seem too simple, it may seem to hard for you to even believe. But Salvation is of the LORD.
Once God, regenerates the dead sinner, once God breaths life into those dead bones; upon true divine regeneration and not just devout religion it will sound something like this:
LORD I have sinned against You, LORD I am a sinner!
-LORD save me, Lord be merciful unto me.
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? (2 Corinthians 13:5).
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25Â For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. 26Â For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
What are you putting before Christ? Yourself, your family? What about your religion or your own self-righteousness? Thou art not far from the Kingdom - look to Christ.
