My Friend we have forgotten Who God Is! We have forgotten who we were and were we are. But oh, we have forgotten what He has done for us.
Our salvation was not an accident, God didn't owe us a thing. But God purposed to save us, through the merits of His Son, our first love.
But this we have forgotten - Jesus is speaking to us today. Saying: Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
