The Lord Remembers - Message 7 - Heaven's Horses. We will learn about the providential power of God in the final night vision of Zechariah. In his eighth vision he sees two massive bronze mountains. Suddenly from between these mountains burst forth four chariots, each chariot with different colored horses pulling them. One chariot had black horses, another had white horses, a third had red horses, and the last had dappled colored horses. As the interpreting angel explains the vision to the prophet we see with him that these chariots are angels sent into the world to bring about God's will among the nations. Here specifically we see these angels bringing judgment and destruction to the nations who had been persecuting His people. Vengeance is His, and He is seen here repaying those who have injured His possession, the nation of Judah. We learn through this vision that no matter how strong, numerous, or influential the world becomes and no matter how weak, small, or insignificant the Church may seem, God will overcome the enemies of His people. As one commentator stated, the world may have might, money, and media, but the Church has the Spirit of God. Supernaturally, through the ministry of His mighty angels, He will control the destiny of people and nations. And He will protect and preserve His people.
