The Book of the Revelation IS NOT meant to be a linear unfolding of what will happen from the first coming of Christ to the second coming of Christ, waiting for profoundly imaginative minds to engage the text and come up with things like, “Ah, here is Napolean,” and “Here are the Napoleanic wars,” and “Here is Russia,” and “Here are airplanes with guns in their tails,” and all this other nonsense. That is not the purpose of the Book of Revelation.
Tons of paper and oceans of printers’ ink have been wasted, and time has exposed the fruitless and confusing result of that kind of an approach to the Book of the Revelation.
We urge you to listen to these two messages and learn the abiding message of the Book of the Revelation.

Great Sermon! My heart is so encouraged to hear what makes so much sense about what’s happening in the world today and throughout history. I am so thankful that we have a true and living God who rules and reigns over everything.

Great Sermon! I don't know if I ever heard such a clear and blessed sermon on the book of revelation. Thanks Rev Martin. You are a blessing to Christ Church.

Very encouraging, but one Q... As usual, a very informative, encouraging & pastoral message from one of the greatest preachers used by God.
One question: what things is he referring to when he says regarding verse 1:
"things that will come to pass in principle, with the people of God in the end of the first Century"
What things...???

The true interpretation of Revelation Thank you Pastor Martin for this true interpretation of Revelation. This is what the pastors of my church and many other Reformed churches preach. Thank you for mentioning the books by Vern Poythress, William Hendricksen and Dennis Johnson. I wish American Christians would listen to this sermon and stop believing the nonsense that they have been led to believe.

Great Sermon! This sermon was a blessing as it helped me to have a better understanding of the Book of Revelation and how it applies to the church today.

Phenomenal Sermon! If all the saints these days could learn from Pastor Martin these simple hermeneutical principles of interpretation, the Dispensational camp would be empty!!! Not even the crickets would stay!!! Truly a sermon for any who have been afraid to tackle the big questions of the Revelation to John.

Truth for Today on Revelation Pastor A.N. Martin has been a blessing for the Church in this day of extreme error. I highly recommend this sermon for its clarity on the Book of Revelation.
For over forty years, Pastor Albert N. Martin faithfully served the Lord and His people as an elder of Trinity Baptist Church of Montville, New Jersey. Due to increasing and persistent health problems, he stepped down as one of their pastors, and in June, 2008, Pastor Martin and...
