The only Redeemer of God's elect is the Lord Jesus Christ, and His office of Redeemer is inextricably linked to His eternal divine nature. The doctrine of the divinity of Christ is fundamental to any proper study of Christology and to proper understanding of the Christian faith, and the scriptures are replete with testimony as to the divine nature of the Lord Jesus. This doctrine has been attacked throughout the history of the Church, and misunderstandings of this doctrine whether intentional or otherwise form the basis of most errors and heretical movements that have plagued Christendom.

Great Sermon! Home sick today. Enjoyed this message on the Deity of Christ. I have a brother in CA who is a JW(sort of, long story), but I'm always looking for new things to say to him on this topic. You are right, not many childrens' books point to Christ in the creation account, and yet it is so clear. It's good to know there is a place to worship if I visit CA. Thank you for your service to Christ and his Church in CA.
