The vast preponderance of the evidence points to the identity of the Two Witnesses as Elijah and Moses: 1. Malachi 4:5–6 and Matthew 17:11 prophesy that God will send Elijah before the great and dreadful Day of the Lord. Malachi 4:4 also mentioned Moses in the context.
