Psalm 85 has numerous encouraging features. One encouraging feature is the Spirit's mind about how to rightly request revival. Another encouraging feature is the repeated reference to the "land" vs.1,9,12. This has reference to what we call material blessings as well as inward renewal. The most longed for feature of the requested revival is that God would revive us again "that thy people may rejoice in Thee".
