We often speak of quickening (regeneration) but the bible also speaks of "requickening." In fact, the majority of the time when the bible speaks of quickening it is NOT speaking of regeneration as it does in Colossians and Ephesians. Psalm 119 is the song of "requickening" which is a revival and renewal of zeal for those who have already been quickened unto divine life by regenration.
