In addition to a lengthy introduction to this series on "The Glory of God", this message will look at Exodus 33:18-23, which shows that, while there are aspects of God's nature that are revealed to Moses (his name, "back"), there are other aspects that are not manifested (his glory, "face"). We will also take a brief look at Romans 11:33-36 to illustrate that the biggest stumbling block to pursuing God's glory is our sinful man-centeredness and how we exalt ourselves rather than exalting God. In light of these two Bible passages we must ask: how glorious is God in and of himself?
