This week we continue our exposition of Paul's letter to Titus, focusing on Titus 1:6. Last week we saw that elders (pastors) are a gift of Christ to His church, whose function in part is to help the church be well-ordered. But what type of Christian can lead the church? That is the question we will start to answer in today's message. Do the same standards we expect of our leaders also apply to other Christians? Do we tend to create rules or qualifications that aren't found in Scripture? Can women be pastors? Does the way one's marriage and own home life are lived out impact whether or not he should be leading in God's house? Is marriage or having children even a mandatory requirement to shepherd a church? Join us for our sermon "The Pastoral Office (Part II)" as we seek to answer these questions and more!
