When Moses went up Mt Sinai he came back down with instructions from God on how to build the tabernacle, arrange the priesthood as well as their attire, and God had also set forth the instructions on how the whole thing was to be arranged. God required everything to be done His way, the one in charge gets to do that. At no point did He make it a suggestion to Moses and the people. God's commands are important and are to be followed.
