Christ died for us, the just for the unjust. We human sinners are the unjust ones. Christ is the just one. And yet nothing is more common than for man to complain about how unfair God is. God is accused of unfairness because He elects some and not others; because of original sin; because He kills "innocent" people; because He commanded Israel to kill the Canaanites; because He paid the laborers who worked only one hour the same wage as those who worked all day; because people who have never heard the gospel are thrown in hell at death; etc. etc. etc. Fallen man trust His own fallen mind to make judgments about what is just and fair and then puts God on the witness stand. But God is not subject to our misguided judgments. He is the just. We are the unjust and unfair ones.

Great Sermon! It's just not fair that so many little clay people don't know that God's middle name is Perrogative. Great presentation on the subject. Thank you.
