Israel is preparing to leave Mount Sinai and march to Kadesh Barnea.
There will be a celebration of the feast of the Passover before departure.
They will head out having been given specific marching orders from God for the Tabernacle's transportation and the placement of each tribe in their order of traveling.
Sadly, they do not travel long nor far before there is grumbling by the people about the provision of food. Then it is not long before Aaron and Miriam gumble about Moses - God's appointed leader.
God makes it very clear that all grumbling is against Him, and there will be great consequences for grumbling attitudes and actions.
Israel's grumbling and disobedience are recorded for us to learn from.
