What happens to churches who let go of biblical truths previously held to accommodate social change? Does broadening views to allow for differences in the body of Christ contribute to unity or disunity over the course of time? Diminishing the authority of biblical truth and lower the priority of the word of God to the church is a statement about not only the commitment to the word of God, but it is one and the same, a statement of commitment (or lack thereof) to the God of the word. The church's message to the world of reconciliation becomes lost as it is readjusted to be a matter of reformation. The message of reconciliation is the means for sinful man to be in a right relationship with God. Adding to the gospel or taking away truths from the gospel result in a message nullified of the power for salvation. Such dangers for the church today are discussed as are the many pressures by the world that continually trying to force conformity to ungodliness.
