The wise men mentioned in Matthew 2 are unknown except to God. Their travels took about 2 years and they came to worship Jesus. We all want to have an area where we are king or queen. We need to take care of what we have for the glory of God. There are people, that when they hear the word of God, don’t believe it. However, Herod, believed the word of God and wanted to kill Jesus. Herod, who could not stand up to Caesar, wanted to stand against God, following this pattern is insane. Today in America, millions of people commit abortions so that they can “keep control” of their kingdoms. Not just abortions, but in many aspects of our lives; we are making selfish decisions to “control” our kingdoms. We must repent of this sins and stop doing them. Herod, when he died, had to face God in judgement, it is the same for all who want to keep their kingdoms. Lying is the opposite of God’s nature. People who believe the word of God and obey, rejoice with exceedingly great joy; they are overjoyed! What is going to happen to you after you die? If you believe and obey God’s word you will be overjoyed.
