Sameness meaning 'no distinctions' between men and women is widely promoted as relating to equality between the sexes. Many who identify themselves as evangelicals hold and promote just such views - but that is contrary to God's view as He has revealed in His word.
God as Creator has ultimate, sovereign power and authority over all His creation so it is His will and His purposes that must be accomplished in His creation. As such, fallen man denies Him to be Creator being unwilling to submit to His authority.
In reviewing the creation account, God's design, designations and distinctions between men and women become evident. The order of creation remains significant. Having created man and woman in the order He did, for the purposes He did, continue unchanged as He is an unchanging God.
What becomes clear from a study of the creation account as well is the efforts of Satan, God's adversary, to rebel against God and influence God's creation to join him in his relentless opposition. By nature and by choice, fallen man chooses to join Satan's ranks and oppose God unless God intervenes in his life personally.
Attempts to reform society are meaningless because fallen man cannot please God - and that only begins by being reconciled to Him through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.
