God is My Salvation - Message 46 - Three Voices of Comfort - Isaiah 40:1-11. The foundation of our comfort (consolation) is found in the truth that God is our God and we are His people. In the face of disaster and coming judgment Isaiah is sent to give a three-fold message of comfort to Judah. They will find hope in the voice of one calling in the wilderness, the voice of the word of God, and the voice of the strong arm of God demonstrating His power through the Good Shepherd. All that we tend to hope in seems to fail, but if we find our comfort in the Word of God we observe and experience the truth that His Word is sure. If He says it He will do it!
