Whenever I type 9/11 my heart goes out to those who lost loved ones in that attack on the World Trade Center so many years ago, and for our country in its ongoing need for spiritual healing—keep praying.
This Sunday is our "Welcome Back Sunday." For some who have already been worshiping in person, this will simply mean a shift in time. For some who are making their first return to in person worship, it will be good to see you again face to face. For some who still find it prudent to worship via livestream for health and safety concerns, you too are welcomed back! (Our livestream and overflow in the Family Life center will take place during both the 8:45 and 11:00 am services). We're also opening Sunday School classes for grade schoolers, teens, and adults (10:00-10:45 am). And don't forget to attend (in person or livestream) or pray for our Spanish language service, now at 4:00 pm.
I wonder how our livestream and Zoom skills can become tools of outreach to neighbors and friends. Any ideas? Maybe a simple reminder to someone you know that they can attend church "with" you and talk about what they experience in the services.
See you on Sunday!
