The ugly side of a nation going its way…
We consider some thoughts out of Hosea 4 and Hosea 5.
EVERYTHING suffers when truth, mercy, and the knowledge of God are NEGLECTED and REPLACED with lifeless, rotten, and foul language, falsehood and deception, killing, stealing, adultery, and bloodshed upon bloodshed. The land mourns and the people and beast that dwell there... all begin to waste away.
Don't blame anyone else... if we're neglecting the Lord and replacing His truth and ways with fun and foolishness, you and I are part of the problem and not the solution... and we can continue to expect to waste as a society.
Wake up, my friends... it's on you and me! It's a heart issue... and you can't control another man's heart, but you can do something about your own. Keep neglecting God's way and replacing it with your own way... it's not going to end well for you and those you love. (Hosea 4:1-3)
