America is not going to be judged some day. America is already being judged. As we study the Bible to consider what it looks like when a nation is under God's judgment, we see things that look very similar to the situation right now in America and all across the West. First, there is mockery at the idea of God's judgment and God's patience is misinterpreted as God's approval. Secondly, we are a nation given over to depravity and we are accelerating and advancing in our wickedness, doing and saying things that would have been unthinkable a generation ago. Thirdly, we are inundated with false prophets. The vast majority of churches today are populated with "pastors" who simply tell people what they want to hear and cry "Peace, peace" when there is no peace. These constitute stage one of God's wrath. Stage two involves national calamities.

“ Frightening but true! ” Excellent sermon! I wish this would be preached from every pulpit in the nation. I completely agree that we are already under God's judgment and that it will only get worse unless we repent.
It is certainly true that false preachers are everywhere. A relative of mine goes to a church where the pastor is enthralled with New Age beliefs. He preaches that there is no such thing as hell and other lies from Satan. May God have mercy on us and replace all the liars in pulpits with men who will preach the truth from His word. And may He send His Spirit to make people believe the truth.
