Reading the Word of God every day and committing It to memory, helps us to be ready for the disappointments of life. It also helps us to help others who are experiencing the same disappointments. Being reminded each day of the truth in God’s Word helps to combat Satan’s lies. It’s encouraging and offers peace. All the knowledge we have about God comes from the Bible; we need to read It every single day, as there is a spiritual battle that never stops raging around us. The Word is our weapon of protection. We need to know It like the back of our hand and hide It in our hearts, so it is always at the ready. The W of God is Jesus, God‘s precepts, and God‘s power. We don’t ever not need it. |
