This is the first of a two part sermon. This part looks at the salvation of Israel the second part looks at the people around Israel as relating to the Millennial Kingdom. The Jews are the problem, the Muslims are right in saying Jews are the problem, but for the wrong reasons. The reason that the Jews are the problem because God chose them to be his people. They have become the center of hatred of Satan the enemy of God. This hatred remains until Jesus Christ, the Messiah, stands on the Earth again.
Revelation chapter 12 tells of what will actually happen to Israel in the future, and all prophecy both past and future is to be taken literally. Many of us do not read Rev. literally, for 2 out of 3 verses refer or allude to parts of the Old Testament. Just one example, Revelation 12:1 refers directly back to Genesis 37:9,10. We have to realize there are figures of speech and symbols that refer to literal items. The relationship between Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Hagar, and Ishmael is studied.
