Good lecture. Good lecture, it cleared to me what Hyper-Calvinism is. I was enriched.

Excellent Lesson! Dr. Daniel gives a great overview on the historical background and ideas of Hyper-Calvinism. Many modern Calvinists, being very High-Calvinists (not Hyper), need to deeply reflect upon the doctrines of common love/grace and the well-meant offer, as well as upon what their strictly limited/Owenist atonement views entail. Hyper-Calvinism still exists and poses a danger, even though the adherents constitute a small group. Hyper-Calvinistic writings now abound on the internet! Many Calvinists are not aware of the danger, because they usually only react to Arminianism, and are unaware of the true nature of Hyperism. I highly recommend this entire series, particularly Calvinistic Antinomianism, The Will of God, High-Calvinism, the 3 lessons on the Atonement, Common Grace, the Practical Implications of Calvinism, The Future of Calvinism, The Gift of Faith, Divine Sovereignty and Human Responsibility and the Order of the Decrees because they are all especially relevant to the issue of Hyper-Calvinism. If you can read Dr. Daniel's 900+ page doctoral dissertation on "Hyper-Calvinism and John Gill," you will greatly benefit from that as well. May God give this series a wide distribution to the glory of his name, and for the edification of the church.
