Chapters 12-14 are an interlude to the seventh trumpet and the first vial. Here was given the rise and fall of the fourth and final kingdom of this world. Now chapters 15 and 16 tell of the outpouring of the seven vials of the Almighty God's wrath upon the Antichrist and his kingdom. These vials bring us to the very eve of Christ's second coming! But there is something here that strikes a most grave note to the ears of the saints of God. Even so late into the time of the Great Tribulation period, at the outpouring of the sixth vial, there is a warning to the saints of God to be watchful against the world making inroads into our churches and into our lives and to keep himself unspotted from the world. Whether or not we can explain it we must receive it as part of God's good and perfect will for us.
