Secondly, the Feast of Harvest reminds us that this world is not our final home, for it is God’s purpose to gather up the elect through this world. We are the firstfruits of God which Christ the firstfruits is gathering from the world which is the stage of the drama of redemption.
Finally, the Feast of Ingathering reminds us that whatever we have in this life comes from the Lord and that the Lord is please when we acknowledge His provisions.
