Worldview warfare began before Adam and Eve. It will continue until the end of the millennial reign of Christ. Though Satan is the god of this world and demoniacs rule over nations on earth spiritually, the angel of God successfully delivered the message to Daniel. This was a victory for the good guys. The Prince of Persia was unable to prevent the angel of God from delivering the message to Daniel. A positive sympathy for God's people on earth is evidence that the nations of humanity on earth, as we see them, are a manifestation of the spiritual domains behind the scenes. Normally, the nations are ruled spiritually by demoniacs who serve the god of this world, Satan. But God and His angelic forces intervene at various times to accomplish God's purpose.
