I think we fail to appreciate what takes place in this chapter. You will remember that Moses is now the leader of a nation.He has hundreds of thousands of people depending on him. He has stood toe to toe with the most powerful ruler in the known world…Moses has become a MIGHTY MAN. Yet he is not too proud to listen. Not to arrogant to hear counsel from his father-in-law. Too many of God's children are too hard-headed to listen to sound wisdom. May God give us all a teachable spirit.
