If judgment is already on us as a nation and if more judgments are coming, how then should we live? First, there are several things scripture warns us not to do. These things are addressed first. Secondly, there are the things we should do. First and foremost, we must realize that we share in the responsibility for the sorry state of our churches and of our nation, and then we must repent of our sin. Daniel confessed himself to be a guilty sinner along with the rest of the Jewish people, even though, from all appearances, he was a godly man with a spotless reputation. We also need to fast. We need to confess the sins of our forefathers. And we need to mourn. The question is: "Will we do any of these things?"

Extremely urgent message!! This is an excellent message, and I would love to hear more of this kind of preaching in all of our churches. My church DOES NOT preach strongly like this, i. e. : no true repentance, conviction, change. We need more prayer meetings, more obeying Scripture, more cleaning up our lives. We need anguish over our sins, both personal and national. Let’s get right with God!
