The book closes with some of the most God honoring and comforting words in all of Holy Writ, yet because is plainly declares that there is a body of truth that was given to the believers, and that this body of Truth is important to God…and most be defended, many are willing to cast it aside as intolerant and narrow. We have all around us false teachers and false doctrine, and God’s people need to be warned to “earnestly contend for the faith as it was once delivered.”
