Old-earth scientists have suffered another severe blow with the release of the Institute for Creation Research's RATE study. The RATE (Radio-isotopes and the Age of The Earth) study analyzed the radiometric dating methods that old-earth scientists have used to prove the supposed billions of years of the earth's age. By testing (among other things) the Helium leakage rate from crystals containing decaying uranium, RATE scientists found that radiometric dating actually supports a young earth (thousands, not billions of years old). Join Generations for this interview with the RATE researcher Dr. Russell Humphreys as he explains how incredibly damaging radiometric dating really is to an old-earth cosmology.
