Instead, the commonly look at their child as either saved or presumed saved until proven otherwise. This has enormous consequences for the child's soul. If you want to evangelize someone, you don't tell them that they are a child of God or a Christian because they have been baptized, and then merely instruct them to behave like a Christian. No, you tell them that they are lost and need to be born from above.
