The reason that I chose this Psalm to read to you on this occasion is because there really is a lot to bless the Lord for, in regard to the way that God showed A.B. mercy in his life. If A.B. were here this morning he would be the first to say: “Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name!” “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.” I believe that A.B., even with all of the trials and tribulations that he passed through would say this with joy, if he were standing here today.
