The promises of the Lord are settled and remain so no matter how unsettled and unstable the world seems to be. What God has promised cannot be changed with the passing of time. Gentiles as well as Jews partake of the salvation blessings promised to, and through, Abraham. God established an unconditional covenant with Abraham that cannot be changed. The covenant is timeless in fulfillment and without an expiration date. The provision of God's righteousness through the salvation blessings of the covenant are received by the descendants of Abraham who have the faith of Abraham. With like faith such are those who are not physical descendants of Abraham saved. Saving faith believes in the Word of God as complete in the Scriptures today revealing the person and work of Jesus Christ at His first coming and lives in anticipation of the fulfillment of those promises revealed regarding His second coming.
