For more than three decades, HeartCry Missionary Society has made it our aim to give our lives so that Jesus Christ might receive the full reward for his suffering. We are determined to hold our course until His banner flies over every inch of the globe.
HeartCry seeks to advance the Great Commission by supporting missionaries, training missionaries, resourcing missionaries, planting churches, and then declaring God's great works to God's people.
As a young missionary in Peru, Paul Washer witnessed firsthand the advance of the gospel through indigenous evangelists, pastors, and teachers—sometimes despite tremendous hardship, a lack of formal theological education, and even a lack of resources. It became his conviction to form a society for the benefit of indigenous missionaries.
From such a small and feeble beginning in 1988, God has now enabled us to support missionaries, distribute literature and scripture, buy land, construct chapels, and provide support and tools for evangelism for over 300 missionaries in over 60 countries and across 5 continents.
