It's important for us to constantly remind ourselves that the effectiveness of God's word is not measured by what you see. Praise God for visible response, for visible activity in response to the word of God. But God's word is never ineffective. It always accomplishes His purposes as it goes forth. We're sometimes discouraged because we do not see the results that we would like to see. But I'm encouraged to know God's word is always effective in accomplishing God's purposes. Jesus said in Matthew 24 and verse 35, heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away.
