The 'im' in Hebrew is plural, therefore when we read Cherubim it means multiple Cherubs. God placed multiple Cherubs to guard the Garden of Eden. There are unseen forces doing God's work all the time. What we don't see can be good or bad. We tend to live by what we can see. Angels are only one aspect of created beings that God uses, and there are different types of Angels. Just because we cannot see something does not mean that it does not exist. Angels are exceedingly powerful and intelligent. We have nothing to fear if we are in Christ Jesus.
