The wonderful close relationship between God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit evidences for us the total agreement in the Godhead for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, and how it is that it is Christ who reveals the Father to us by the Holy Spirit.
We who believe are loved of God. As the Father loved the Son, so He loves us. Indeed we were loved in eternity past, are loved now, and will be loved in the future. The unbelieving world has nothing like the loving relationship that our Heavenly Father has with His children.
Christ's suffering for sinners and humiliation through His death in the cross was followed by His exhaltation to the glory of heaven. Heaven and earth are reconciled in Him, and our Saviour's experience in returning to the Father will, one day, be our experience too.
What do you think of the love that the Father showed to us through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ? Indeed we should think much of it. Salvation, we are reminded is of God. Because therefore of such love we are able to have great hope and joy, knowing that one day, we too, will be going to our Heavenly Father.
