In this encouraging Psalm, David makes a declaration that in itself is an expectation of what lies ahead, founded upon the reality of his ongoing walk with the Lord. He proclaims in v4, as it is rendered in the KJV that "we will be satisfied with the goodness of thy house". We are assured therefore that there is plenty to be found in the Lord's house that will bring lasting satisfaction to the soul.
So we must ask ourselves whether we are able to speak about the things of God in the same way. Are we satisfied with the goodness of the Lord's house? Have we come to appreciate all that there is there for the believer?
Main Headings:
1: Spiritual goodness 2: The goodness of the Lord's house 3: So are you satisfied?
