Part of what we pray for when praying for God's Kingdom to come is that His Kingdom will come to the wicked. This will lead to humility and repentance, and a complete change of heart towards God. This is what occurred in the wicked city of Nineveh, long before Jesus even taught us to pray for His Kingdom to come. He did not need a fantastic preacher (Jonah was disobedient and didn't even want the people he preached to to have mercy), a Christian foundation in the city, or pastors who were ready to deal with the blessings and challenges of an awakening. He is able to work in even the most cruel and evil of places, and do it overnight. We can have hope that God will do a work like this for us, too.
