Five Reasons are considered and refuted - this lesson deals with the last three reasons, the previous lesson covered the first two.
Reason #3 - 'The sabbath rest required in the 4th commandment has been fulfilled in the rest believers now enjoy in Christ. Therefore, the 4th commandment is no longer needed, and is now obsolete'.
Reason #4 - 'The Sabbath has now been superceded and replaced by the Lord's Day' (D.A. Carson's view). But this fails to take into account that the Lord's Day does not 'replace' the Sabbath - it PERPETUATES it!
Reason #5 - 'Isn't God to be worshiped every day - not just one in seven? Are we to set one day above another?'
All of these objections are answered and shown to be incorrect.
