Our study of the gospel of John brings us to John 6:22-27 where Jesus exposes the false motives of many who followed Him for selfish reasons.
Last week we left Jesus and His disciples on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee, near Capernaum, after Jesus appeared to them while walking on the sea during a storm, which terrified them, thinking He was a ghost.
After assuring His disciples not to fear, that it was He, they took Him into the boat, and immediately they found themselves at the western shore.
Let's read our text together, and then we will wade through some tall weeds again as we dig into these verses.
